Creative entrepreneur Ryan Thomas has launched a monthly video blog spotlighting businesses in the Bowmanville and surrounding Durham Region area. The series is called "Shaping Our Community" and first up is Hands On Music located in downtown Bowmanville. Proprietor Dan Welsh chats with Thomas about music, business and what it takes to survive and thrive. Thomas is a real estate agent as well as a member of country rock band, Bootleg Glory, and I would wager he has shaped the community himself via his music and his open mic hosting duties.
