Terra Lightfoot covers treble charger's 'Red'

Will McGuirk August 20, 2025

By Will McGuirk

Terra Lightfoot’s new album ’Home Front’ leans into the back roads of Northern Ontario away from the hard highways of the Hammer. This lead single is a stripped down cover of treble charger’s anthemic ‘Red’ bringing this rock back to the root full circle and its a fuller circle moment as Bill Priddle joins Terra on this bluegrass take on the rolling guitar brashness of the original and its is the perfect metaphor for Lightfoot’s approach to this new record. Like if someone covered Coax Me with a fiddle and bodhran.

The album track list is below, notice “A Case of You’
1. A Good Sign
2. Sleepyhead
3. Already There In My Mind
4. The Queen of Trout Lake
5. Red Feat. Bill Priddle
6. Yours Forever
7. Counted On You
8. Out Of Time
9. Shooting Star
10. A Case of You
11. Hummingbirds Hum
