The Country Music Association of Ontario has announced the nominees for the 2026 awards and as per the locals have gotten the nod. The award ceremony takes place Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Port Credit Memorial Arena in Mississauga. Sacha with roots in Oshawa and Robyn Ottolini with roots in Uxbridge have three nominations each. Robyn is up for Single of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Sacha is up for Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year. Both are up for Fan’s Choice. Tyler Lorette is from Courtice and has been in the Country music scene from a very young age and I don’t think he’s turned twenty yet!! He is nominated for Male Artist of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Tyler, Sacha, and Robyn were through Oshawa recently all playing at the Biltmore Theatre and Robyn is also headlining Springtide in Uxbridge June 12, a pretty great hometown show for her.
