Indie rocker Julianna Riolino is fast becoming one of those iconic Canadian artists, wholly their own, wholly outside description or easy categorization, way too slippery for the average music scribe to ID. Like Joni Mitchell but not. Like Julie Doiron but not. Like Joel Plaskett but not. Like Julianna Riolino but hold on hold on maybe not. Riolino has a new album, ‘Echo In The Dust’ due in October and is touring (dates below) but has a new single ‘Full Moon’ available, with Alex Edkins of Metz on guitar. One to watch, one to catch, if you can that is.
