Singer/ songwriter Lenore passed away Aug 12 after a battle with ovarian cancer. Lenore was mum to two local musicians Rob and Nick Teehan. I got to know Lenore through the Velvet Elvis scene around Glen Bensley and other open mics plus my writings on her music and that of her children. We exchanged messages about our health issues as well which I will always appreciate. Wonderful engaging person, such joy, which always came across in her own music.

Acoustic punk rocker Chuck Coles is featured in the Phoebe Street Sessions. We had a chat with Chuck at the beginning of this year.
High profile producer Bob Ezrin is in Oshawa at the Biltmore Theatre Oct 27 for a talk about rockers Alice Cooper. Ezrin worked on several of the Coop’s albums. Joining him will be Dennis Dunaway bassist for Alice Cooper. The show is presented by Lou Molinaro who is most closely associated with This Ain’t Hollywood in Hamilton but Lou is doing shows in his hometown. Tickets here.
