Well the festivals are beginning to gather, so great to see. Our good pals at Town Brewery have announced the first acts and details around the second Whitby Music Fest. The festival takes place in Celebration Square as well as in some locations around the downtown. Entry to the main stage events requires a ticket but there are free events at various shops and venues in the core.
Friday June 26th is Country Night with DJ Moody, Elyse Saunders, Johnny 99 who plays with City and Colour, Shooter, and Alycia Hebert
Saturday June 27th is Indie Night with Rural Alberta Advantage, Shad, Kiwi Jr., Casper Skulls, and one of our faves around here, Spirit Josh.
Beer and Food options will be available. Both Tijuana Jesus and Mary & Adelaide appear on the poster but no deets on the wheres and whens of thems.
