Our Festival which features female and gender-diverse artists takes place Saturday May 30 at the Mod Club and at the Small World Centre in Toronto.
The Afternoon Circle kicks off just after noon at the Small World Centre and the line-up includes Angela Saini, aniqa dear, Leah Holtom, Maya Killtron & TRP.P.
The evening event at the Mod Club has Alysha Brilla, Ammoye, Anyma Ora', DJ Me Time, Kimmortal & Maïa Davies (who was in Oshawa at the Biltmore Theatre recently).
"Music has been a vital healing tool in my life," says Davies in the press release. "Coming from experiences of abuse, the support of women and LGBTQ+ communities has given me a safe place to be believed, create, and reclaim my voice."
"This festival is a celebration of unity and collaboration, and a powerful reminder for the next generation that connection, not competition, is the path forward. I’m thrilled to bring my music and light to this vibrant community, and to be part of growing the festival in a loving, uplifting way,” says 2026 JUNO nominee Ammoye.
Connection, not competition, remember that folx.
