Tennyson King explores past on 'Big Mountain High'

Will McGuirk May 6, 2026

By Will McGuirk

The fluidity of music, how it flows over and beyond distance and differences is on display with ‘Big Mountain High’ by singer/songwriter Tennyson King, born in Hong Kong but based in Toronto - something of the dignity which Julian Taylor brings to his songs is sensed on this track, a realization and reverence with memories of King’s father on it.
