Slow for a reason, slow for the season, but planning, gathering, building, building, building - isn’t that what a snow fort is for? And did you notice as you stood on the turrets the sun shone longer.

To me those songs have some kind of spiritual quality—sometimes I feel like they’re these different voices that you’re able to channel. The night symphony in full voice in the garden which earlier played host to monarchs idling their way south, holding on to another hour dancing in the sun, like me holding on to another hour outside, reluctant to leave this still night and the companionship of the Harvest moon.

What day is it? Does it matter? Have we moved past measuring our time in 24 hour chunks, have we moved past measuring time at all. DO dates matter, maybe, do days matter? Does this seven day cycle matter - well I will say the cycle of the seven does, at least in years, at least in my life plan it does. Are we moving from days to moments, from moments to the now?
