The Rural Alberta Advantage have a new single out and have announced an American and European tour. They did update however that the gig at Fine Line in Minneapolis has been cancelled. The RAA have been around for a good many years and have passed through Oshawa a couple of times. I first saw them at the Velvet Elvis mid 2000s when they decided to play out on King Street. Ever since then I have paid attention to their rather distinct take on indie folk music, a middle ground between Hayden and Elliott Brood.
