Montreal singer/songwriter Daniel Isaiah has a Daniel Romano via The Band via Faces loose vibe on this track ‘How the Tiger Got Her Stripes’ - the whole thing leans into going off the rails but thankfully doesn’t. There is a new album on the horizon ‘Western Medicine’ which I guess is what the song is chasing. The album was recorded at Mixart Studios with drummer Robbie Kuster, bassist Mishka Stein, pianist Jérome Beaulieu, and guitarist Warren Spicer who also oversaw engineering and mixing.
