Fabulous garage punk from our faves The Mendozaz, no strangers to the Slowcity as the trio have played Kops as well as regularly at Brew Wizards here in Oshawa. So yeah dig into a new EP due this weekend (Nov 3 2025). Title is ‘The Completely Fictional History of This Great Nation of Canada’ and the lead track is “Late Stage 12 Gauge”. Formed in 2017, The Mendozaz consist of Jonny (vocals/guitar), Michael (vocals/bass) and Dic (drums) and they had also shared stages with some other Slowcity pals such as Chuck Coles and the Anti-Queens. Great stuff, go see them live.
