That river of Sam Cooke’s keeps on running; where we don’t always see but definitely through this new track ‘Rainwater and Whiskey’ by Mohawk Americana singer-songwriter Logan Staats and its not inevitable that that river can be dammed directed drained no it runs its own way on its own terms but that Sam Cooke river does run where the change comes and I hear it both running and rivering by Logan Staats and his change of whiskey to rainwater.
