Grievous Angels asks '‘If There Was a Revolution’, new album due Feb 27

Will McGuirk February 19, 2026

By Will McGuirk

The talk of revolution is in the air. Grievious Angels have a new single ‘If There Was a Revolution’ from their album ‘Revolution’ due Feb 27 2026. The Angels are led by social activist and former NDP MP Charlie Angus and the new ten song collection is an urgent appeal for said revolution. The album cover was created by Ron Hawkins of Lowest of the Low, no slouch in the song as action realm himself. The album also includes a duet with Andy Maize of Skydiggers, ‘Our Lady Of The Crows’. I’ve gotten to know Charlie a bit as he’s been in Oshawa on workers rights issues and I’m looking forward to hearing this release. Its time for timely work.
