Tauro is the collaborative project between Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene and jazz pianist Cynthia Tauro. The duo have added other players for this one; Josh Trager of Sam Roberts Band, Kintaro Akiyama of Birds of Bellwoods, and Thom D’Arcy of Small Sins. Both D’Arcy and Canning have roots out here in the Durham Region. The track is a restrained piece of dream pop. and with recording sessions ongoing with folks such as Spencer Muscio (Jessie Reyez), Juwayon Clarke (Daniel Caesar), and Little Scream more tunes will be released and one would imagine some shows.
