River and Sky Festival, Field ON. have announced additional artists who will be playing what I consider one of the best fests of the summer. Having already announced Preoccupations, By Divine Right, and Casper Skulls, the organisers have also booked Bells Larsen, Cootie Catcher, Jenina MacGillivray, Kate Maki, Pick A Piper, and Choses Sauvages. There are more of course and a river, and a sauna, and a beach, and rad vibes, and a chance to hang with the makers that make along the north shore of Lake Huron. And with Quebec a short drive away too, the festival becomes a confluence, a crossroads of influences, making it one of the most interesting events in terms of diversity. Sometimes one can check a line-up to see if there’s a theme to the bookings, some through-line, or commonality and then one can pronounce, well I pronounce R&S 2025 is If the World Is Going To Hell Then We Are Going To Dance Our Way Down Each Of The Seven Circles!! This is going to be a fun one.
