Gigs of Note: James Vincent McMorrow at Biltmore Theatre Nov 4

Will McGuirk October 29, 2024

Irish singer/songwriter James Vincent McMorrow is touring eastern Canada and the USA and making a stop at the Biltmore Theatre in Oshawa Monday Nov 4 2023. He is touring his latest album ‘Wide Open, Horses’. His first, ‘Early in the Morning’, was released in 2010. McMorrow is a bit of a big deal, over 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and his cover of Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game used for Game of Thrones type of big deal but the manner in which the new album was recorded and tours which includes stops such as the Shwarock City gig is indicative this indie folk artist is marching to his own beat.
