Its been sometime since I've seen the Hot Kids play, sometime mid 00s at the Velvet Elvis. They were good then and they are good now. Their new track "Caught in the Light" has that hand in hand celebratory feel when you're dancing with all your pals but the lead vox stares at you. Its very Metric meets Bruce Springsteen and Courtney Cox or Bono at Live Aid, you know the feeling when you and a thousand pals all bounce in time. Its the best and so is the Hot Kid.
