Linda Jansma - retirement party - video by Blüm Media

Will McGuirk July 9, 2018

By Steven Frank

Senior Curator Linda Jansma is walking away from her role at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery (The RMG), retiring in a manner. Jansma has been with the gallery for almost three decades and has helmed over a hundred shows. She has been at the centre of the artistic community in Oshawa and her presence at the Gallery will be missed. On May 31st, 2018 a special evening was held at the RMG to celebrate her legacy of supporting collaboration and art in Oshawa, the Durham Region, the province and across Canada.

Work in photo of Linda in opening sequence is from the series "Walking Woman" by Michael Snow.
