Visit Wunderlit poster artist, Sarah Holtby on the Lake Scugog Studio Tour May 5 and 6,

Will McGuirk May 3, 2018

The Lake Scugog Studio Tour takes place Saturday and Sunday May 5 and 6, 2018. Along with the many artists who have opened their studios to the public over the years there are four new artists, emerging artists involved this year.  Sarah Holtby is the featured poster artist in Issue 2 of Slowcity.ca's arts mag Wunderlit. She works in primarily in coloured pencils and her large scale works are deeply human. Wunderlit is available for pre-order here.

The other three artists are painter Karen Wideman, flute carver Stephen Rensink and Nelly Schurman who is a potter. The full gamut of artists working and living around the Scugog area will be showcasing, from theatre to fabric, metal, glass, stone artists, photographers and printmakers. At several sites there will be demonstrations and there are also quite a few great places to eat right around the lake.  Full details here ->
